- The telemedicine service includes the provision of health and care services, diagnosis, consultations, treatments, the transfer of medical and educational information, through the use of communication tools such as voice, image and video.
- Other alternatives to telemedicine were explained, and that by agreeing to receive the telemedicine service, I understood that the service depends in one basic way on what I or the referring doctor give me in terms of information. Due to the absence of clinical examination and evaluation, the service providers, who are doctors affiliated with Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Mishari Hospital, may not be aware of all the details and facts, which may affect or limit their ability to evaluate and diagnose my condition and thus recommend the necessary treatment.
- I understand that the telemedicine service is not intended to substitute or replace a direct (face-to-face) health care service with the service provider, and that although I may benefit from the telemedicine service, the end result of the service may not be guaranteed or conclusive.
- You understand that the use of this technology involves some potential risks such as interruption or disconnection, unauthorized entry and other technical and technological problems. Therefore, I or the service provider can stop and cut off the video call if the service is inappropriate.
- All telemedicine services are provided exclusively through the private network of Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Mishari Hospital, and accordingly, I will not request any personal calls or obtain a phone number or mobile phone of the personal service provider, in order to preserve privacy and confidentiality of information legally.
- While receiving telemedicine service, some employees of Dr. Abd al-Rahman al-Mashari Hospital may be present, except for the doctor providing care, because they operate the video system and the like, and that I will be notified of their presence, and that in that case I have the right to the following: Leave any person who does not belong to the medical staff. Termination of service and disconnection.
- You also understand that images, video clips, and data that are used through the interactive service can be recorded as follows: Pictures, videos and information can be exchanged, either verbally or by any means of communication, between service providers affiliated with Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Mishari Hospital only. In no way can pictures, videos, and information be shared or shared, whether verbally or by any means of communication, to any party outside Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Mishari Hospital, without obtaining a written consent from me personally.
