Early beginning

The world witnessed a devastating smallpox epidemic in the late 1940’s that reached the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Abdul Rahman was a four-year-old boy at the time and had witnessed the terrible suffering that the disease had caused to his entire community. And when a family member died in his arms, Abdul Rahman vowed to do something about it. To help people overcome disease and infection, Abdel Rahman grew and developed with him his love and passion for medicine and medical issues, and was attracted towards his profession like a magnet – there was no other option – he was destined.

The magnet – there was no other option – was destined to be a doctor. Abdulrahman graduated from the university in 1972 and became the first qualified doctor from the Eastern Province, in addition to the first Saudi to join the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecology in London. Entering the Field of Medicine and Excelling

The Saudi government honored Dr. Mashari for his exceptional accomplishments, and the government realized at the time that it needed to establish a medical college in the Kingdom to help train other Saudi medical students. Establishing the hospital and achieving the dream

A private hospital in the Kingdom. By using the savings that he had built up throughout his years of life, he was able to buy a plot of land in Riyadh, which he then used as collateral to obtain a loan from the bank – to build a hospital

Good legacy

Dr. Mashary passed away on the third of March 2016 at the age of seventy-six, surrounded by his family, friends and workers in the place he built to share with others, that hospital that he built with his heart and soul, the place he dedicated
